a squid is a new rider trying to show off, a rider wearing no gear, a reckless rider etc. we dont like to ride with squids. they are dangerous. they attract bad attention.

@GIjohnpaul the real squids in the water can go very fast in a straight line but almost no control turning a corner. in motorcyclists' term is to describe those riders that goes very fast in straight line but cant hold a line in corners.

WTF is this BS? I don't think he was even really trying because he kept letting off the throttle. Also, he was sitting up the entire time. When he got down low and clearly opened throttle... he started pulling away --- just as the camera turned away real fast.

@Chizel666 would be like pfft if he woulda turned up the boost he would have won. either way the video was still kinda of a bummer because it wasnt a full race of the bike trying and theres many factors to show that it wasnt. we all know the bike would have spanked it...if you think otherwise you are just a retard. but ive ridden my buddies GSXR 750 about 10 times...which was totally awesome and fast as.....shit. didnt think 140mph would come so fast lol. bikes and cars are awesome.

@outofbodyexperience well a GT35R turbo at 9 lbs is making 400whp at VERY most. usually will do around 350whp. that is no challenge at all to a bike of 600CCs. no need to stress in the race period for the bike. not trying to argue for either side. but id pussy shift if i was in a guarenteed win race like the bike is. woulda been a very dissapointing and much more people hating if they did the bike WOT for the race. all the bike guys would talk shit. and all the car guys

@Chizel666 What does the "seriousness" of the race has to do with how you shift? Do you have different "modes" of shifting for each scenario you encounter? I mean, I have a ZX-6RR and a ZX-10R. It doesn't matter if I'm racing on the track or if I'm having a good time on the twisties; with a handful of throttle, I let it go 1/8" and shift. Why waste time between shifts when sequential trannies are built to be shifted without using the clutch? I only clutch it if I'm downshifting. =D
