***All natural sounds are actual sounds from firefight.*** SGT Greg Williams is the latest Soldier to receive the Distinguished Service Cross- the U.S. Army's second highest award for valor. With both ear drums blown and his body still on fire SGT Williams saved the life of his platoon leader and exposed his body to the enemy to man a .50 cal machine gun. Produced by Staff Sergeant Raymond Flores

  • No shit Jack ass, I was the K9 handler there.

  • @MrCass1972 it's just a dog. They have dogs in the middle east too.

  • glad they shared their stories. but unfortunately many combat vets do not want to share their experiences to civilians. 1st hand accounts of battlefield comabt are priceless history.

  • how was this heroic dude you did what u were supposed too these pussies get a medal for shooting a 50 cal ok

  • It's a comforting sound to hear a 25mm Bushmaster chain gun

  • Nobody said anything about the K9 unit that was there.

  • The Distinguished Service Cross--that's what this video is about!

  • What kind of medal was that at 4 seconds?

  • OMG that sounds like hell
