Compilation of the best B♭5s and B5 (B♭/B above tenor C) put together by members of DigitalDreamDoor. The two notes are together in the same video on account of the scarcity of quality notes at either pitch. This is *not* an official list, and it is in no order. The only rule here is that there is only one note per singer (that means only one for B♭and one for B5).

B♭s
* "Light My Fire" (live) - Jim Morrison (The Doors)
* "Sheila" - Miljenko Matijevic (Steelheart)
* "Ring of Fire" - Mark Boals (Ring of Fire)
* "Evil Never Sleeps" (live) - Todd Hall (Burning Starr)
* "Highlander" - Daniel Heiman (Lost Horizon)
* "Angel of Death" - Tom Araya (Slayer)
* "I Thank You" (live) - Vitas
* "Bohemian Rhapsody" - Roger Taylor (Queen)
* "Ave Maria" (live) - Kelly Clarkson

B5s
* "Piece of My Heart" (live) - Vanessa Amorosi
* "Headed for Disaster" - Ski (Deadly Blessing)
* "Hush" - Steve Lee (Gotthard)
* "Gangland" - Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden)
* "Almadel" - Mike Patton (John Zorn)
* "Doomsday for the Deceiver" - Eric A. Knutson (Flotsam & Jetsam)
* "His Eye Is on the Sparrow" (live) - Jennifer Hudson
* "4 Chords Medley" - Benny Davis (Axis of Awesome)
* "Lie Ciocarlie" - Vitas
* "Walk Away" - Von Smith
* "She's Alright With Me" (live) - Jackie Wilson
* "Love Ain't Easy" - Miljenko Matijevic (Steelheart)
* "Bohemian Rhapsody" - Jimmy Gnecco (Ours)
* "I'll See the Light Tonight" (live) - Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen)

  • @hadeskiller1 The End of Coma.

  • "Love Ain't Easy" - Miljenko Matijevic (Steelheart) -- Best one!! I'm now a total fan! :P 4:22

  • @TheRockLover1000 Well, defining full-voice the way people who post these range videos do doesn't make any sense to me. I've never met a vocal teacher in person, choir director, etc. who defines anything by chest voice/head voice (not the screamy-falsetto-esque head voice) as being full. Sure, hitting it in mixed voice without adding all the pharyngeal, or getting really light on it is hard, but I really don't think that any voice that high is full, male or female.

  • @TheRockLover1000 Where does Axl Rose hit a C#7? Just curious.

  • @Zenweaponry It's pretty easy to hit it in Falsetto, there are many singers who've done that. Axl Rose has a C#7 in falsetto. I'm talking about hitting it in Full voice, which is near impossible.

  • @TheRockLover1000 Hitting a C6 for a guy isn't too terribly difficult, but hitting one well is damn near impossible. I'm a bari/bass, and I can shriek out a C6, and I have a friend who's a lyric baritone who can hit F6s in falsetto. It's not too pretty, but he hits the note, and if you include whistle voice then anyone who has that register can soar into the 6th or even 7th octaves.

  • The two last singers: Ann Wilson and Ian Gillan, simply wonderful!

  • @Videostar1another1fa That too.
