Save the Dogs - by Anika Tyler Young, age 9

An original song & slide show Anika created for a school project aimed at "making a difference."

Anika encourages people to adopt dogs from their local shelters, and spay & neuter their pets. Her family has 4 dogs, all rescued. Her dog Scamp came from the South LA shelter.

Here is her message:

Some day you've got to learn
'Cause you'll want a puppy
Some dogs get adopted
Some are not so lucky
So get a dog from the shelter.

'Cause I have four dogs
They have a good home
They were rescued
Spayed & neutered
And they have their own bones.
