Mileys POV:
I woke up by banning on my door and sat up looking at the door holding the sheets close.
"Im not coming out! You cant make me!"
"Miley come out! What about Ryan then?"
I looked down at the teddy bear I still had in my hands and sighed a bit knowing I had to be with him instead of my room. I squeezed the teddy bear a bit feeling guilt rushing over my whole body. I wanted to go but not with anyone else. If I had to see my dad right now it would be so awkward and I would feel really nervous.
"No dad! I dont want to come out."
"Youre disappointing me with this Miley..."
I laid down on the bed on my side looking out the window.
"And you disappointed me dad."
I was waiting for his respond but he didnt say anything. I sat back up after a while confused and walk up to the door. I was about to call my dad as I heard someone knock on the door.
"Miley?"
"M...mom?"
I slowly opened the door and walked back to my bed as mom got in closing the door again. I sat down on my bed looking down a bit as I felt a hand pulling my head up. I looked my mom in the eyes slowly moving closer to her as she wrapped her arms around me.
"I...Im sorry mom. I didnt mean to go that far..."
"I heard everything your dad told me. I didnt expect this but it could have been worse. So Im going to believe you didnt meant for it to go that far. I just want you to know that next time you have to be careful ok? I dont want you to end up hurt again. You dad maybe didnt say it that way but hes just looking out for you."
I looked down a bit sighing.
"How do you know he meant the same that you do? He slapped me mom twice. He made me make Nick leave and Im not allowed to see him for 3 weeks! Why does dad always end up sending you when I have a fight with him? He knows I love him why cant he just come to me and fight something out? Ever since last year he stopped trying. Why would he suddenly stop trying to fight things out and send you instead?"
My mom looked at me biting her bottom lip.
"I dont know sweetie. I wish I did but I dont."
I looked at her with tears in my eyes.
"I want to talk this out with him. Is that so much to ask for? He did come up here but after 2 sentences from me he already gave up on trying. Thats not how he used to react. Normal he would stay at my door for hours if he had to. I want him back mom. He said I changed but so did he."
I felt my mom pull me in a closer hug what made me wrap my arms around her slowly loosing tears while whispering.
"I want dad back mom. The one who would fight to win something. Not the dad who gives in."
"Miley, I know what you mean. Your dad has gotten softer but you have to understand him too. It was very hard to see his daughter grow up so fast because she had to. He always wanted for you to stay his little Miley as long as you could and that changed in a light flash. He misses taking care of you because now youre taking care of someone yourself."
I started to wipe my tears.
"Did I grow up that fast? I can still be his little girl. I cant help it that I grew up faster can I? I mean I had too. Its not like I had a choice."
"Miley Im sorry give it some time ok?"
I looked at my mom slowly nodding my head.
"I...I will can I stay alone now?"
My mom smiled a bit stroking my back and got up leaving my room. I looked around and got up to my closet grabbing clothes and other stuff. I pulled out a bag from the top shelf and put all the clothes in and walked up to my bathroom grabbing some extra stuff.
"If time is what he needs Ill give him time."
I slowly zipped the bag up and walked out of the bathroom back to my closet grabbing more clothes and changed into them. I slowly picked up the bag again and made my way to the window and opened it letting the fresh air hitting my face. I climbed up the window tablet and slowly made my way out of the window holding onto the wooden flower rack climbing down on it until I felt the ground. I looked at the house and made my way to the street as I took a last glance and started to run.
