Fate/Stay Night Skit. I was really confused by this one, it didn't make any sense. Everyone suddenly just started fighting - Assassin didn't even use Tsubame Gaeshi against Saber like he should have, and Saber suddenly disappears back to her own time. O.o

  • @otakublade808 I also noticed that you just joined YouTube yesterday, and you posted your very 1st comment here, while avoiding commenting on the other skits. (Did you joined YouTube just to post this or did one of your friends who has a personal grudge tell you to come here to post this?) I also noticed there were some comments, (That looked very similar to yours) that were being spammed in other websites including a newspaper. (Sounds like a personal grudge to me.)

  • @otakublade808

Actually some of the players practiced the fight for weeks, and the fight scenes were planned almost a year in advance. Please try not not to jump to conclusions when you don't have all the facts.

  • Horrible skit. Probably would have been better if the Cosplayers actually practiced a bit. When I saw this from the audience, I just shook my head. People around me couldn't figure it out either.

  • @Haruhi004 Haha. Yes, cause an 18 meter tall mecha is so much simpler

  • @Erithis Well, the Nokia Theatre stage is really huge so we tried to see if we could do a big fight scene there. (A big fight scene is rarely done or attempted onstage for a Masquerade.) Perhaps someday, we'll show you the "Director's Cut" version with Emiya Shirou in the end. ^_^ Again, thank you for the comments. Yeah, this was a very complicated & one of the most difficult skits to pull. I'll try something simpler the next time...like bringing a 18 meter tall mecha the next time! LOL!

  • @Haruhi004 I see. I could tell a lot of work was put into it. I recommend doing something simpler. More than 2 people fighting at one time makes it hard to follow even if it is well planned. For something like a masquerade skit, it would be better to alternate between the fighting characters. This makes the fights quicker, but then it doesn't look confusing. I like to watch the fights and trying to watch more than 2 people at once is hard, haha.

  • XxNinjaixX: By the way, I can e-mail you Assassin's e-mail and phone number if you have any further questions. Please don't jump into conclusions that he doesn't answer back. He's always been prompt in returning my calls.

To Erithis: Once again I must apologize again if you got confused with the skit. That was not our intention. A lot of us pulled in our 120%, so it is disappointing to hear that someone got confused. This was not an easy skit. Maybe I should do something easier the next time.

  • Part III-Continue-There was supposed to a scene with Emiya & Saber at the end also, but Emiya couldn't make it at the last minute so we had to modify the ending.

XxNinjaixX: I had sent everyone in the group a letter that explained the story. Everyone else understood it. Didn't your boyfriend showed the letter to you? In the future, if you had a question, you should ask instead of keeping quiet throughout the whole practice session. I would have been more than happy to answer any questions.

  • Part II-.Continue-The fight scene was also designed by a professional martial arts stunt man who watched the FSN clip. We lost lots of sleep practicing for this skit, and Assassin flew in 5 days from out of state before just to rehearse with Saber with the fight scene. There were a lot of scenes that we wanted to add, but 2 minutes is really hard to tell a quick version of FSN. I know Saber and Assassin stayed at until 5 a.m. & worked on the skit the night/day before the Masquerade.

  • O.K. allow me to explain since I wrote the skit. Saber is fighting the servants that Caster had sent out to destroy her. Rin & Archer came at the last minute to rescue Saber at Emiya's request. We wanted a more extended scene with Saber & Emiya but we only had 2 minutes to work with. When Caster is killed, Saber was able to return to her own time. There was going to be an extended scene with Emiya but we had ran out of time. (I'm truly sorry that you were confused about the skit. )
