Samsung 204B Lag

I have a Samsung 204B monitor that recently started to act like this. It is very slow in showing new images and lags behind. It almost has a 'ghosting' effect. There appears to be plenty of light so the backlight is not the issue. Any ideas out there? Is this a fixable problem?

I know the video is awful (cell phone), but you can see how the window that is opened fades in (instead of opening promptly) and the mouse has a trail (that feature is not turned on). Also, although you can't see it in this video, the colors are not good at all.

@greg1154 No, I was not able to. I think the faulty component is attached to the screen and the repair would cost more than the monitor is worth....sucks too because the monitor was a good one.

Were you able to correct this, I am facing a similar issue with one of my 204b's
