The Price You Pay

This is a song about surviving. Just that. Just living. A dear friend of mine says, "Maybe that's the point, just to live, to go on living." This was filmed in the mountains of Virginia, with some kind of critters making noise in the background, and a pickup truck going by during one of the choruses. Suze did the videography, the clumsy cuts are mine. This was recorded straight into the camera's microphone, and no enhancements were made later, but I suppose that will be obvious. As John Irving says: "Keep passing the open windows."

This is beautiful. It is so true . Almost like an adult lullaby after finding out that it's a good , but not so easy life without the magic of those fairy tale characters we grew up thinking would come to our rescue! Amazing tune & Vid!! Am I way off on my perception of this song?? I've been eating alot of strange jalapeno & fluff sandwiches with wads of peanut butter, Suze! I may be a bit OFF !! :)
