thanks for the post but i really believe that you should post similar videos but with measuring conditions and forces aplied to gear( if you still working on the uiaa ) only as an informative videos for those who cant get any info about this subjects

Weight ratings would be nice, but I would guess most climbing accidents are rope related and are caused by less than ideal conditions (sharp rocks, weather wear, ect.) Also, the strength of the equipment is maximized when weight is applied slowly. In a fall or other sudden application of weight they would give much more easily. I assume that this equipment is designed and tested in many conditions, and I am well aware that it can handle 99.99999% of all it's uses.
