Robotech / Macross Movie: Part 5

I edited this movie almost frame-by-frame, so I hope its appreciated for all the hard work I put into it! I tried to use every song in my soundtrack collection. If I were to make a live-action Robotech film, it would go something like this but with dialogue of course.

For now, there will be no embedding until I get sufficient requests.

@naliss Forget them, I appriciate the hard work you put in, Even w/o the dialog, which I think this is more of a showcase of the scenes and how the music gives the scenes the emotional emphasis, The impact that just scenes and dialog would not have.

Also their just jealous they didn't or could not accomplish it themselves.

I prefer Macross because that's what I grew up with (well... and because it's better), but this is still a great video. I can't remember what that extra well-drawn segments in the beginning are from. Is it the DYRL movie?

@lobitodawolf oh dear...you don't know the "story" harmony gold got the rights from tatsunoko not the actual creators of Macross. watch the 80's version of robotech and marvel @ how Showji Kawamori's name is never mentioned in the credits. Studio Nue didnt get paid&had their work altered without consent.Now becuz of legal issues. HG can't use Valkyries(veritek) and character images anymore.watch shadow chronicles you'll understand

@lobitodawolf "I bet those creators didn't complain about the royalty checks they got when "Robotech" became a big hit here in the U.S." Yeah Royalty checks for 1 year followed by 21 years of failed attempts to create a sequel.
