  • what battery did you run, and how did you mount the EDF unit in there with no mounting tabs? Also, what esc and timing did you run? What thrust and efflux speed do you get from the fan? I'm very interested in ordering this unit for my squall if it runs on a 2350 mAh 40c 4s battery.

  • Rhino 2250 40C 4S Battery

Used hot glue on the EDF unit

HobbyWing 60A Opto ESC w/Low Timing

    I don't have thrust/eflflux data.

  • How many amps is that setup pulling?

  • Ran it up on a 3600 20C 4S Lipo and it is pulling about 60amps and 930 Watts freshly charged, ESC timing high. On a 4S 2250 40C 4S it was drawing about 50 amps with ESC timing low.

  • very nice flying.. looks little bit touchy isn't it :)

  • Thanks for the info. I have he 4 cell version and am just running it stock at this point. It pulls a little under 30 amps in flight and a little over 30 staticly. I'm using a 2200 20C and using up about 1400 mAh in a little over 5 minutes.
