I made this tribute to actor Joe Dallesandro (most famous for his Warhol factory films directed by Paul Morrissey, such as Flesh, trash & Heat) in 1998. He had been an idol, a fantasy since my mid-teens, and in many ways images of him (as seen for years only in out-of-print books about Warhol) actively shaped my sexuality in terms of the kinds of persons who attracted me. This has been screened in some 25 film festivals around the world.
