not sure how ppl can really bad mouth Sy Fi , that network has aired some of the best sci fi shows from stargate to BSG . ya lately there schedule hasnt been whats it has in the past ,but give it time .

i have faith in the producers of these great IPs to give us something new and great either in a already established IP or creating a new IP . just a matter of time .

Great show , great fans, great run. However, like Ben Browder stated "All good things must come to an end". So now something new , maybe different, but not so much that it can't captivate the minds of people thru adventure in the not so distant future. Will SyFy be able to recognize and fund new Ideas that Will Work? You tell me.

Why do people have to be rude? Honestly, look at their accomplishments before you criticize. A show that not only runs 10 years, but has several spin-offs, movies, and is only one fraction of a multi-million dollar franchise is nothing to be mocking. Whether you were a fan of the last 2, or 4, or any season, you can't deny that if they were doing something wrong, they wouldn't have lasted 10 years.

@Flylake well... 10 years (plus sevral spin-offs) is actualy REALY GOOD for a sci-fi series. Actualy, its realy good for any show.

they should have canceled SG-1 after the elimination of the Goauld. I think it was at the end of season 8. I didn't really like the new cast and the Ori were just too much...

I've got one thing to say :I'M glad that we're on SEASON 6.... little over 4½ seasons of SG1 to go.I know network's BIT slow but I DO NOT CARE ! ! :P yeeeeeeeeeeea

Saying things like "we should be proud for going on 10 whole years" is pure bullsh*t... Those are the very generic words of a person who has accepted that the show is going offline.

I cannot be more pissed that they didn't renew the contract for SG1's 11:th season and i for one will never accept it... i curse the day the shareholders said no to the renewal of contract!
