I just purchased the Captain Sim 727 for FSX. It's an old school commercial airliner that is awesome to fly. If you are use to flying the newer aircraft then you'll find flying this bird a challenge. After spend a few hours flying I was able to figure out the Auto-pilot and the navigation. I can see why there were 3 pilots flying this workhorse.

As you can see... I still need a bit of practice landing. I tested the gear with a 300-400 FPM touchdown.

  • oh! Papi light 4 white?????

  • @durantknighthuytoan better than 4 red...lol.

  • What is a captain sim actually? What does it do?

  • @1997Lucske1997 Captain Sim is a software company that makes add-on software for Microsoft Flight Simulator. In order for the software to work you must first have purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator. you can check out their website at captainsimDOTcom

  • can you teach me ILS, if you will, send a message on Youtube ;)

  • @MultiPushback - Sure, I can teach you the ILS (instrument landing system). ILS is a way to find the runway when you cannot find it visually. There is a lot of information to learn about instrument flying... I would look at some of the ILS tutorials on youtube first. There are some really good ones and some very poor ones too. Also I'd do a google search for ILS tutorials.. I'll try to make a video myself... but I've been busy and don't promise anything real soon.

  • @MercuryOneOne The BEST software company for fsx lol

  • @xtreme1881 Yes but PMDG aircrafts are way more realistic than ones made by any other developer other than maybe Level D. Ones made by captain sim are still far away from PMDG quality as system simulation.

  • how is it on frames???

  • I think you lowered the gear a little (a lot) too early and you put full flaps. But as you said, it was your first time.

  • this is why i dont buy pmdg aircraft because some of the packages cost 3 times the flight sim its self! i bought fsx for $20 and buying pmdg aircraft cost $60 and higher!!!

  • Bravo!

  • This is one of the best add-ons exist! :)

my biggest problem with it is my 12FPS :(

    Captain Sim FTW!
