The Constitution guarantee's freedom of assembly but actually allows congress to suspend habeas corpus in the presence of a rebellion. There is a big difference between assembly and rebellion and what these people are doing is NOT protected under the Constitution. The Constitution is NOT a suicide pact..

  • Spin? As in being completely honest and unbiased?

Here's a recommendation to so many getting indignant and angry out there: if you understand so little of the law as to not know that anything you do in a public space can be photographed or taped by anyone and used, how do you plan to change a system you understand so poorly?

Rights are for everyone, whether you like them or not, and if that had been a police dog used on a protester, people would be screaming all over the internet about it.

  • Come on, folks. If you want to change the world and get noticed in a good way, turning on reporters is not the quickest path from point A to point B, especially when they are fully within their rights and you are trying to interfere with their rights.

Additionally, if you're simply undocumented, being video-taped is no real threat.

If there's a warrant out for your arrest or something of that sort such that you would be afraid of being taped, _you aren't helping by showing up to the protest._

  • Shoot that dog in the head.

  • @banjoeagle Yes! and It's funny because This is between Them and Them none of this will make any law maker lose sleep...

  • @Wingchunworkout Hey man...I don't know what the guy feels, I just know pits aren't bad dogs..and this whole occupy movement is so fucking ridiculous. There are ways to change things..but this isn't it. If you want change, yeah, make it happen...but not like this..protesting like this dosent do shit, but make the PROTESTORS look bad. They need to do REAL research, and bring in the legal side of things, that's what will scare the government big time.Play THEIR ball, on their turf

  • @Wingchunworkout You're right-There is no law against PEACEFUL protest...but trashing a place, disruption of public, public nuisance...drunk and disorderly..THATS all against the law.

  • @banjoeagle lol when this shit hits home. you will feel what that guy feels right now, but untill then im with you! im comfy behind my laptop at home. =0)

  • And stop saying bs about who knows the law....There is no law in protesting. thats a fact! ask anyone of those cops and you will be arrested without cause just for speaking.

  • please look at it this way... Attack AAAnd film the cops .... cause your both doing it wrong!!!!! media and the people work together. sounds to me like you are both missing the point.

  • Looks like the start of a rock concert, Sly and the Family stone as well as Joan Biaz should setup and do a gig. That is what they really want, cool tunes.

  • hipster pieces of shit
