THUMBS UP FOR TUTORIAL =]

So last night I did flat twists. Woke up and remember 1. It was my student's Water Day and 2. I really had no other style in my head.

Love this style. VERY quick and easy. Combing was a breeze even AFTER taking twist out. =]

  • I understand how you feel about the water in your hair. Try just dampening it, not drenching it and it will help you manipulate your hair better. Also as far as products, becuase your hair has a finer texture you don't need to use heavy products, so like someone else suggested I you should try the coconut oil. That Cantu will build up and leave a residue on your hair as well so make sure you're clarifying.

  • I tried this hairstyle last night. I was surprised at how easy and quick it is. For anyone else with fine hair this style does work.

  • I know EXACTLY what your talking about, my marge used to wash &condition it (mine and my sister's hair) every sunday, put it in like 7 oddly sized single plaits for the week i'd had school and repeat the next week....only when i started taking over did the length, split ends and drama begin >.< Hope you find a good balance between being creative and protective with your hair =)

  • Those curl enhancing products are better used on wet hair.

  • @dcaramelone "we looked like chickens by the heal" = hardly any hair and thin hair at that. a chicken is to feathers as a human is to hair.

  • Try extra virgin coconut oil. It's way lighter than Olive Oil!

  • @coldestwoman "we looked like chickens by the head" LOL what does that look like?
