Promotional video for the Challenger 2, highlighting its features and capabilites. Presumably made by Vickers in the early/mid 1990s. A very well made and edited video. Music is "Mars, Bringer of War" composed by Gustav Holst.

  • @quickzilver333 thats true, something we can agree on lol did a good job getting under my skin :P meh forgive and forget i suppose

  • @FletchRDG LOL! In the end we still belong to the Allied forces. I'm just giving you a hard time...LOL!

  • @quickzilver333 they arent excuses, do some fucking research you mong and repeating yourself doesnt make you right. Ive not changed the story infact Ive put out information and my sources, you havent refuted a single thing so fuck off you little donut eating armchair warrior.

  • @FletchRDG LOL! you are an Idiot! The Leo 2 that was involved in the competition is a bette than the M1 Abrams and Challenger II. The M1 Abrams came on top on both competitions...LOL! Stop changing the story because you just can't face tha fact that an outgunned M1 Abrams was able to beat the LEO 2s...STOP MAKING EXCUSES!!

  • @quickzilver333 go read New Osprey 112, New Osprey 23, Osprey. Im sorry but your saying tanks made 8(Leo2) and 7(M1) years prior to the challenger 2 is state-of-the-art equipment? you sir are delusional at best. The M1A1/2 brought it some time and the Leo2 is constantly changing to deal with with it original turret design flaws. The only thing Challenger 2 had to do was have sand filters and sand skirts fitted. These arent excuses they're facts, go and look them up.

  • Get over yourself, give it a really good think and come back with something new, all that has everything to with the Abrams because its stated in black and White the performance of the US Forces not being able to clearly identify targets, most tank crews will say a tank is only as good as it's crews.

  • @FletchRDG LOL! They never brought the Challenger II in competition because they will end up dead last again. The M1 Abrams and it's crew won over a more advance German Leo2s.....LOL! The M1 Abrams also served in KFOR. Do some research and stop making excuses. I'm sorry but your Challenger II is obsolete. I would rather have the LEO 2A6...LOL!

  • @FletchRDG LOL! You just proved in your own words that the Abrams have seen more combat compared to the Challenger II. Research how many combat operations tha Abrams has done during the first Gulf war and the second. Now compare that to the Challenger II enemy encounters...LOL! No wonder they only have few damage Challenger II. How can you say you have the best tank if you never fought any battles like the Abrams...LOL! You are running out of excuses!

  • @FletchRDG WTF! what does it has to do with the Abrams? Are you running out of excuses?...LOL!

  • @quickzilver333 also the US GOA: Operation Desert Storm '92 states that the Abrams sustained 23 destroyed or damaged. 9 destroyed, 7 by blue-on-blue and 2 intentionally destroyed to prevent being captured. The Challenger 2 however, 1 case of blue-on-blue where a 2nd Royal Tank Regiment tank took out a Queens Royal Lancer, a HESH round hit the commanders hatch, the red hot fragments fell into the turret igniting the ammunition. 2 died unfortunately.
