  • I'm a proud non-union man myself. But Sid was a great man.

  • The UMWA, was once a respectable organization. Now they, "knowingly or not" are destroying the coal industry with all the crybaby bullshit, or helping prop up the enviromentilist Democrate Party, which hates the coal industry. Fuckin fagget ass retards. I just can't get anything done when working around them.

  • This is a respectful story, the uinion definitely was needed in this era, and the workers needed someone to speak up for the employeee. I just can't understand how this union that fought so hard for workers could support someone who has not made any decision to promote working mens jobs, could stay silent while the coal industry is suffering as the West Virginia economy is dependent on coal. I solidly support the rights or mine workers, as it is a tremendously dangerous job.

  • GOD BLESS YOU!

  • Awesome post! Such an amazing history!
