  • Play more live dudes ...

  • What an excellent cover! You guys did a great job of keeping it true to the original. I've watched about 15 other covers on youtube and this is by far the best. Way better than Moby.

Thank you for posting this video.

  • whe are you playing live

  • Amazing! Really great job guys!

  • I hope you'll put more videos, they are fab. You guys do not keep the spirit in the amber, but give it life again and today. No offense :-), but the fact that you are the age Curtis would be now, rather than 20ish, is key, frankly. I like that and I like what it means.

  • Uh, there's been a confusion here. For some reason, I thought this was related to Crass, then I thought "Where's the girl ?" (Joy de Vivre :-) and, looking around here and there, find out that you're not related to Crass (or are you ?), and that you guys are Joy De Vivre (band) covering up Joy Division.

Subtle, but that cover is very original since they're not teenagers anymore :-) They put "adult angst" in it and they seem to be doing just fine : the good side of angst, uncertainty is that it stops you from turning into a cutsie narcissist greedy idiot.

That's why New Dawn Fades will always be appealing : not just because it's dark, but because it's really good.

That's why main stream assholes will always find work in the industry of fucking up songs like this one.

  • I agree.

    It's nice because, obviously :

1 - they understood what the fuck the song meant, what they heard to begin with.

2 - They're not narcissists concerned with making money.

3 - Therefore they sing and play accordingly.

  • best cover'
