  • I love this guy, no BS just the facts.

  • @kevinpur Thanks! If you don't already know there’s also more great info on my BlogTalkRadio show. Go there search & Steve Turano. The show can also be downloaded from iTunes. The most recent shows can also be heard on my website home page (at the bottom) once they upload. Tell a friend! ~Steve

  • Lol Practice at trying to do exercises. Too funny. I know I'm sick of reading in magazines about core training or functional training. Simple, basic exercises have always worked for me. Keep making me laugh Steve. Love it!

  • The basics ALWAYS work. I make guys bigger, women toner and people thinner using the BASICS. Let Cirque du Soleil do the circus exercises.

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks! Gotta tell it like it is!

  • core training helps improve over all balance which one NEEDS especially if they are also lifting moderate to heavy weights. you cant be in the gym with wild form and say "well at least im doing it" your form and strength and balance should all improve from the time you start working out to. i personally do planks and i have gotten stronger since doing them. i also do dead lifts and squats and a strong core is key! not sure about all core exercises but PLANKS do work! FYI

  • My - the CORE™ - has never been better since I started doing heavy squats. I remember when I lifted a 30kg bar from the rack first time, my trunk started to wiggle and twist around, I had a feeling I was gonna break something. I could barely have the weight on my traps, let alone squat it. Today I did squats with 85kg bar, 12 times per set in 4 sets. I had a feeling I could carry a 100kg bar without problems. I did 0 special - the CORE™ - exercises since I started .

  • I loved this video... thank you... we need more videos like that!!!! I am more than fed up with trainers showing off 'new' and 'super' efficient exercises..... ^^

  • You know, THE CORE

  • just like what ur high school coach told ya, the basic works.

  • LOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOL This guy. Its sad but it's hilariously true. I dont know how many times somebody comes to my gym and treis some completley outrages exercise just cuase they saw it on T.V. and it gets them no where. Spot on sir spot on.

  • funny thing is, basic weightlifting is one of the most functional things you can do. Most people are good at something that involves physical activity, and if they get stronger they will be able to preform it better. This so called "funtional training" is a waste of time cause your body doesn't really improve that much from it
