ah man eric.. i was at school today thinking the same exact thing. it feels like such a waste of time when i know i could be doing music and making songs instead of sitting in classes half awake barely listening to uninteresting things... in a way im glad that you decided to do what you want, and hopefully you will get a job that you like!! =D
