Dodge Dakota 0-100

97 dakota 0-110ish ... speedometer is off due to oversized tires so 93 mph on the speedometer is equal to 100 mph. Running 33"s. 5.2L 5spd 4x4. Not fast but fast for lifted dakota with 33"s. Hypertech programmer, cold air intake, exhaust. Anyone else running 33"s with a video?

hey I am gonna be getting a 97 dakota by the end of this year, are they a good truck? any problems?

I do like the truck, the only draw backs are that I had very sloppy steering that i had to fix and it uses about 1 quart every 2500 miles but it has 168,000 miles on it. Also the brakes are undersized for the truck.

I also have a 97 Dakota 4x4 5.2 auto with 31" tires with 194K. Love the truck....hardly ever any problems..not the best on gas though....18.5 on a trip.....12.6 around town, short trip. Wish mine was a 5spd like yours.

If your burning oil and have that many miles then your plenum gasket is bad. Fix that and you'll oil consumption will stop. I guarantee thats your problem.

@brunza15 I love my 03 aswell.. 4.7 with a chip and airaid intake.. 3 in body lift and nitto terras.. cherry bomb turbo.. just love the sound of the cherry bomb turbos...
