Mike DeSisto calls a high energy "progressive squares" tip at the 26th annual IAGSDC square dance convention in Washington, DC on April 9, 2009. About 900 square dancers, their friends and families from all over the US, Canada and Japan were in attendance! This video features "progressive squares" where an even rectangular matrix of several dozens of 8-person squares are moved around so that the squares overlap and dancers move from square to square. To square dancers it's nothing but pure fun and exhiliration, as you can see. More information at the end of the video.
I sure wish more of the younger generations would give this dancing a try it is so much fun. Mike is from our area and we feel very lucky to be able to dance to him all the time. Cool video thanks for sharing.
