@HopeForPeaceNow Before the compromise the north had slaves and before the cotton gin the south didn't care much about slaves.

"then they should have outlawed it " ZackAttack261

Was was the Missouri Compromise over - what was the subject?
The Missouri compromise led to the civil war - really - how is that?

@HopeForPeaceNow It was to keep northerners happy and not let the situation to get out of control. Plus that was the worst mistakes in American history that is what lead to the civil war.

@HopeForPeaceNow Also thous compromises is what started the civil war. If they wanted to end slavery with out a MAJOR disruption then they should have outlawed it completely or let it die naturally like MOST COUNTRY'S DID!!!!!

"so the union could make a profit " ZackAttack261
DO you know what the Missouri compromise was?
How was the North only making profit from slavery that it was opposed to spreading??

@HopeForPeaceNow Thous compromises were only put out so the union could make a profit out of slavery while keeping the northern people on their side.

" the south was thinking about banning slavery since Russia did. " ZackAttack261
I hear this a lot from confederates. IN reality, they had been fighting for 50 years to maintain slavery, and as it was perceived as under threat, based their culture on it more and more. Pro slavery apologetics were woven into the fabric of Southern culture in 1860. Why do you think we needed all those compromises - 1850, Missouri - what was Bloody Kansas about? Fugitive slave act?

@HopeForPeaceNow Yes ... the south was thinking about banning slavery since Russia did. also Robert E Lee and Stone wall Jackson didn't support slavery.
btw Lincoln supported segregation and even allowed the black codes.

Will God vindicate the South's right to allow ownership of humans, base a culture and economy on it?
Will He vindicate your right to have pride in your heritage of segregation?
Will He? Really?
I think you'll be sadly surprised.

This will be my last post and possible my last comment on this pitiful video. I NEED A NUMBER TO PROVE SHERMAN'S GUILT. You idiots just do not get it. Unless you give me a civilian death rate relative to Sherman's march then you can not prove he was a war criminal. Any comment on this post that does not have a number will not be given a response and will instead prove your own stupidity and lack of knowledge on the event. This chance to prove yourself will last only one week.

~GBLESSUSA~, since you find my vid so ~pitiful~ then kindly move along ... Sherman was a vile human being on many levels. We don't need numbers to show what he was. His words and actions speak for themselves. If you choose to idolize him so be it.
