You are all blinded with ignorance. This movie is about a girl who wasn't as fortunate as you jerks and didn't get proper education because her mother was a nut case who thought school was garbage and worthless. Her mom beat her and tormented her for no reason and Precious (Clarisse) couldn't move out because her mom had legal custody of her and her children. If she tried to run away, she wouldn't anywhere's else to go!

It is good, I was finally came out in my town and i had to see it, i was sitting next to an old lady and we both started crying. Its worth it people, monique and mariah and Gabriell did good. Its a bit too graphic, but go for it...
