Jackie Olivier is preparing for a special Christmas celebration this year

My daughter is away at college and when she comes home . I thought it would be good to do something new this year. 
So, Jackie turned to handmade candy cane, LINKYDOODLES, to bring a little classic holiday taste in a brand new way to her familys celebration.

"Each one is made by hand. We make a big batch of sugar and corn syrup and a little cream of tarter and we actually boil it in a copper kettle, get it up to over 300 degrees.  We lay it out on a marble slab and just about the point when it begins to cool, we put it up on a big hook and begin to stretch the molecules and thats what turns it white then we add the stripes.  
Robin Reichelt, owner of linkydoodles wants to preserve the art of candy cane making and offer a new idea for holiday decorating, but she knows they also have to be practical. 
I wanted to test what would happen to the candy over time and heres what I found out. Dogs dont like peppermint, cats dont like peppermint, ANTS dont like peppermint. So peppermint is a good thing!! 
Robin delivers her linkydoodles in person in Orange County, or they can be shipped out of town.  BUT, there are only a limited amount of these delicacies.  In fact, she believes theyll be gone for the season by the first week of December, so dont delay! 
"We do like candy canes!  Peppermint is great so it will be good to have those around and then devour them afterwards!"
