Edo Era Actor BURAIKAN Tatsuya Nakadai

Buraikan (1970) or the "Scandalous Adventure of Buraikan" Directed by
Masahiro Shinoda. Starring Tatsuya Nakadai. The movie had alot going for it including a great cast with memorable supporting characters but it sadly failed to entertain. It conveyed the extreme of discipline (bakufu administration) vs the freedom of self expression (social misfits) near the end of the Edo Era. I uploaded this to show the valuable recreation of behind the stage atmosphere of popular theatre.

I was just joking about the overacting---he's really charming. I once saw a fashion mag ad he was in --in a book at my University's film/TV archive...a shame I couldn't scan it...he was GORGEOUS as a model. Still laugh how people say he has HUGE eyes. Wish we can watch Cash Calls Hell---he's one cool cat! LUV HIM
