Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, led a high-powered delegation to observe the Democratic Party Convention. One of Africa's most progressive lawmakers, Senator Ekweremadu was one of the international leaders invited by the NDI's board of directors to witness the historic occasion of an African American being ratified as a flag bearer of a major party in the U.S. The Senator was accompanied Senators Bode Olajumoke, Mohammed Kabir Jibril, Anyim Ude and Anthony George Manzo. A series of special events were conducted for the international visitors.

  • @lancelo96 mad cuz he's stylin' on you.

it's okay though, the next time you give some random email response your SS #, bank account information, and the rest of, all in the name of finally "making it big", off of the inheritance of a relative that you didn't even imagine you had, I would hope that you'd think twice.

  • He did well in the interview. Im impressed. Soyinka does well, Okonjo-iweala, Sanusi and Ribadu too. IBB,Cecilia and OBJ disgraced Nigerians.

  • Ok the guts accent is quit thick because he lives in Nigeria but i am a Nigerian and I have a british accent because i grew up in the UK from childhood. Would you say I am copying the british as well? Your accent doesnt matter. I dont understand why an accent is special anyway,

  • What he will take home? Are you crazy, they are there to off load their loot and go back for more loot! Nothing else to take home if not to order state of the art bomb proof and missile proof vehicles and streamline jets.

Shameless people, Obama is representing the face of chance for this!! So what is he and his gang representing in their position? Face of corruption and looting of public funds? Obama will help old bums like him to institutionalise Democracy, so what are they practising now?

  • FUCK NIGERIA AND ALL THEIR ENDLESS SCAMS

  • @orisunye the fact that he keeps his nigerian accent doesn't mean he or any other african for that matter wants the rest of the world to have to same accent...that logic is flawed...plus, not all nigerians have accents as thick as this...it's a fact so stop reading to deep between the words and stop assuming what isn't so.

  • Na wa! But why did obama support all these money the senators are receiving while we are all poor here? We were all happy that our obama will make us change and i thought that with the salaries he cut from their riches wud have touched the mind of our rich men to help us but no why? Nigeria has no good advicer.

  • His accent is hard to understand but i am sure he is taking about important issue's.

  • His accent is irrelevant...the interviewer had no problem understanding him and he made his points clearly...grammatically correct. It's not the accent but the substance that is important!
