If you put a stop on a negative bpm, it allows the arrows that occur during the beat-skip to be hit. They can't be missed, but they can still be hit. You're only allowed one step per direction per negative bpm though.

@Mariopartyrules To put it simply:
When you place a negative bpm, place a positive bpm after it, and stepmania will skip beats until it gets to the point where the times match.
This song is 125 bpm. So if you put -125bpm, then wait one beat, then put +125bpm, the chart will count backwards for one beat, then start counting forwards again when it reaches the positive. Once time reaches where it was, the chart resumes as normal, skipping everything in between.

I didn't get how negative bpm works by looking at the video.

@Mariopartyrules Once you get to a negative BPM section, the time goes DOWN, instead of UP, making the arrows come in BACKWARDS, instead of forwards.
Here's an example: Up right left down becomes down left right up.
I know it's hard to see from the video, but if you pay close attention to the left side, and then the right side, you'll be able to see that the arrows on the left are in reverse order on the right. Also, note the mines toward the bottom of the video. They're the same as the right.
