3 Die in Shauri Moyo over Illicit Brew

Three people have been confirmed dead while another five have gone blind after consuming an illicit brew in Nairobis Shauri Moyo estate. Immediate police reports indicate that the illicit brew may have been laced with a poisonous substance which led to the tragedy .the locals however refute police reports, saying that up to 7 people died in the incident. And in an angry cloud, the residents took it upon themselves to demolish several structures said to harbour changaa drinking dens. Franklin Macharia reports
