  • Go Ip Man, kickin' that white guy's ass! I mean punching that white guy's ass because kicks are not allowed!

  • @Gutsz100

the UFC is a sport. Chinese martial arts is not. There are things that Chinese martial arts teaches that would destroy a UFC fighter, such as joint breaking, eye gouging, pressure point targeting. I don't know how a Chinese martial artist would fare against a Russian combat Sambo master or a Greek Pankration master, but I can tell you that in an unrestrained fight, all three would beat a UFC fighter. Why don't you compare UFC to another sport, like boxing or kickboxing?

  • @IndianaHenryJones20 Apparently not, Samuel Kwok is a Wing Chun bad ass and he's 62 :)

  • @sickness324 even thought you typed that he is 10 years older than in the previous movie.Age can make people weaker you know.

  • wing chun is not a sport. its the fastest way to paralyze or to kill people

  • @Gutsz100 The Nature of Wing Chun punches stem from body structure, correct alignment and forward pressure. This is how the One Inch Punch is possible that Bruce Lee popularized. There is more than just one way to punch.

  • @Kyuubi950 I don't know about stronger dude. Just because they're bigger doesn't make them physically stronger...look at Shaolin monks for example.

  • @Indirectcell Dude, I'm a Wing Chun practitioner. I can agree that chain punching is extremely energy consuming and tiring...but Donnie Yen had trained in Wing Chun for two years, as well as being a mixed martial artist. We train specifically for hours at a time punching a wall at slow speeds and gradually pick up speed. He only punched for 16 seconds, we usually train to do that for a minute. Not usually that fast, but Donnie Yen is a fast person. Im sure he could pull it off.

  • @Indirectcell Well. My insight is not worth much, but the boxer was WAY out of his weight class. Plus, it's a style of combat he's not used to dealing with. Karate is very similar to Kung fu in many ways, and is a very direct style. Boxing however, is very malleable, manipulating angles, psyching out the opponent, and having insane stamina.

  • @chatanwarrior No. The first one is loosely based on a true story. The second one had almost no factual basis beyond the fact that he taught Wing Chun in Hong Kong. The first one was a little closer to his life, but a lot of facts were either exaggerated, or occurred out of order.

  • @IndianaHenryJones20 Dude. the movie Ip Man 2 takes place 10 years ATLEAST after Ip Man 1. And the bullet wound went through his shoulder clean, not damaging the bone. That would recover eventually.

  • @RadioChipmunk No biggie man, I mean I trusted Wiki too but I prefer the word of his own family and students rather than wikipedia. Wiki also said he was an opium addict, but there's no evidence to support the fact. I think it's just a misunderstanding that he was addicted to tabacco and had a serious smoking problem.
