I believe he went off on the drug topic as a response to the homosexual persecution question. He was trying to equate the two, as clearly the Iranian govt considers gays as criminals, deserving the death penalty. Too bad he wasn't able to continue on that path and make the point so that we can view it clearly and reject it.

As far as "draconian "law pertaining to homosextuality,it is only a matter of opinion, the opinion of the questioner and the opinion of God.I wonder whose opinion is more superior? But I guess God's law ranks supreme.

He is saying that homosextual is not a phenomenon as what is obvious in America. He is not saying that there is no homosextual in Iran.

They should be open-minded to other cultures and consider that its OK to execute people for being gay? I give my highest respect to those booing this lunatic who was lucky enough to be given a stage by Columbia. Lunacy should not be tolerated.

u talk abt love...so in Iran if a man is able to have a second wife..do you think it's fair for the first one? didn't he love the 1st one that much to get a second one? We might have high divorce rates..but also the right to divorce...without any husbands consult. And women in USA are never surpressed.
