How movingly performed is this song and how great the telling of Aristide Bruant's life. This then moved me on to the online exhibition on Saint-Laware as a women's prison. I am currently preparing a small talk on the history of Saint-Lazare and recently visited the site. It is as sad now but for other reasons as it is portrayed in your pictures and the song. Thank you for all of this.
