A beautiful song from the "Waterloo" album. This was one of two songs written for the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. The other song was "Waterloo". In the end they chose "Waterloo" as the Eurovision entry.

hello Symphonyofflowers......im from a country that speaks spanish....."hasta manana" means like until tomorrow....the people who speaks spanish uses that term when goin to bed to sleep or when you are gonna see a person the next day.....is like a form to say....see you tomorrow....I hope you clear about the meaning.......

This song's lyrics is quite similar to VERA LYNN'S '' WE'LL MEET AGAIN'' lyrics being popular song in world war ii years(''we'll meet again, don't know where,don't know when'') and music related to song"TIE YELLOW RIBBON'. ABBA 'S early songs lyrics must've been influenced by contemporary western songs.But their music which based on Scandinavian folks music , largely influenced by American and other western music styles and gifted two couples provided unprecedented phenomenon.

@sanjeewakaru Well, the lyrics were written by Stikkan Anderson. He got the inspiration for the title during a holiday in the Canary Islands where he heard the phrase "hasta mañana" all the time. But I don't know where got the inspiration for the lyrics.
