@keyholeartists - i tried to be civil and acknowledge there are diets in the east that avoid these foods, but it isn't because they are poison it's more because they are (i forget the sanskrit vedic term offhand) very energetic and hot, they stimulate the nervous system and are regarded as not so good for meditation..
it's well known they are anti-viral and good for the blood and so forth. so yes one of those fresh foods that make italian food healthy also.

Seriously! what is wrong with you?! Where do you get your information from?! Garlic is linked to various beneficial health effects, from reducing blood pressure and cholesterol to treating cancer. Yes excessive intake of garlic can cause irritation to the digestive system but that does not make it a "poison" ! My friend treated her high blood pressure with garlic, So saying garlic and onions are poison is just absolute foolishness!!! GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!
