The Jim Calhoun Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament has raised millions. 2007 is the first year of The Big Y Jim Calhoun Cancer Challenge Ride statewide event to benefit The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Connecticut Health Center; the ride raised over $225,000.

calhoun 3 titles since 1999 more than any team.even when the NCAA tried to take him down, in classic calhoun style, he took an unranked preseason team to a title to shove it in their face..this is coach calhouns style..the day he retires will be a sad one for uconn fans..one of the greatest coaches ever..heck throw in the uconn women and its safe to say connecticut is college hoops king of the nation

Congrats to coach Calhoun and the rest of The UCONN Huskies on winning the 2011 National Championship game. It wasn't pretty but that was a hell of a run. Way to represent the Big East.
