i suppose this is all exciting for you uconn fans but the reporter brings up some really good points.

The mass marketing appeal of large state schools comes from the fact that the taxpayers all subsidize the tuition creating high enrollments. Which then only creates a larger fan base. So you could say the tax payer has created the situation, not any self serving head coach.

What about the players, it Jim can make this stand for himself, why can't the players make a stand like this.
