It's a kilt, but every kilt in a kind of skirt. For men like some other skirts. Men wore skirted garment since clothes were invented. Now we (men) forget the truth that skirts are much better for our anatomy and switched to trousers (original feminine garment), so the risk of some men's diseases (infertility, testicular and prostate cancer, benign) is rising. I'm a kilt wearer (non Scottish), so I know kilt is much more comfortable than trousers. However UK is tcost more than casual, it's wrong.

Who cares what you call it? It's wearable cloth, which happens to be quite comfortable.
