Perhaps one of the greatest battle themes of all time. This was the true meaning of epic -- a flawless track from beginning to end.

This game is on of the most criminally underrated I have come across in my 20 years of gaming. The whole series is as a matter of fact.

@Chazer127 Probably a bit of both, the original developer doesn't exist anymore and I doubt there are any other developers that could handle such a project. I would love to see a new PD but it seems too far away :(

@ShadowRave Imagine it on the 3DS, using its 3D effect to really bring the area to life, and using its motion control to help navigate (optional of course), and it could also use its streetpass to good effect, maybe by making some of the things in Pandora's box unlockable with the play coins you earn via walking? That would be great, but alas this series is either dead, or in a large hiatus.

@EpicZantetsuken Yeah, but what really sucks is that fanmade undertakings (MOTHER 3 English translation, MOTHER 4 fangame) are almost completely unknown other than the complete diehards. And yeah, it's getting harder and harder for people to identify games that aren't from Nintendo/Konami/Rare/other huge companies. And even then, some games are so overrated that despite being a relatively bad game compared to games like this (Gears of War anyone?) they're still touted as "the best."

@Shockwave109 only one other person knew about Earthbound and MOTHER? that's kinda sad, but i bet that'd be the same level of response in my classes. unfortunately, i haven't actually played the games (although i was planning on getting a rom sometime soon), but i have watched some videos, done research, and at least know what they are. no one respects classics anymore :(

@ATP2555ify There are so many that you can list it's not even funny. I once quizzed my math class whether they knew about Earthbound or MOTHER, and I got only one other person to say they knew it. I mean, is it that hard to remember that's where Ness and Lucas came from in Brawl?
