I modified a Hario manual ceramic burr grinder so I can drive it with a power drill. The modification takes about 10 seconds and does not require many parts.
Have you noticed the nut locking up? The original crank doesn't screw on, therefore it doesn't tighten as it's grinding. Your screw is tightening as your grinding, is it not?
This heats up the beans too much and may alter the true taste of your beans. Slower the better.
