Canoeing Cooper Lake / River (WA)

Cooper Lake is found in the heart
of the Cascade mountains. It's
spectacular scenery and
abundant wildlife make it an Ideal
location for a day trip or an
overnighter. The Lake itself is
very popular and you will find
several kayakers and canoeist on
any given weekend in the
summer. On the west end of the
lake is where Cooper river flows
in and where you will find a large
log jam. It is the gate that stops
all except the adventures.

You're kidding, right? Although I've never fished up there, I see fish jump all of the time and there are many people fishing up there.

I love Cooper Lake. It's so peaceful.

VERY nice - LOVED the little bit of Cascades I was able to see - I hiked to and camped at the Sahale Arm Glacier; it was AMAZING.
