Ia Drang Valley, Vietnam, 1965. Soldiers flew into battle for the first time in the history of warfare. And two helicopter pilots saved their friends.   • Thank you. It was a privilege to meet both men together. Unfortunately, Ed "Too Tall" Freeman died in August 2008, just two years after this video was produced.

  • Incredible video, having both heroes involved in the project. Thanks for posting this. I am in awe of these two brave men. I'm sure there are more untold stories of heroism during the VN conflict but I'm glad to see these men finally got recognized for their selfless acts of courage.
