Same here. This is one of those movies I grew up with. I don't care if most people say it's crap. This is one of my childhood favs!

It's still a fave of mine. I must admit to watching it quite often.

Yeah I can understand. I asked for it for Christmas once. Luckily I still have the dvd I asked for Christmas.

I introduced this movie to my younger cousins. They LOVED it and I still watch it with them sometimes (I had them watch it just a few years ago since they are pretty young ages 8 to 15)

I love this movie!

It grows on you. I had to watch this two or three times to get the jokes I had missed.
(its those double meanings)
Voted 6th worst pirate movie ever made -- but I am in complete disagreement with that. And the fact that it is much more popular nowadays than when it was released seems to bear me out.

Hell no man - Beta. I had my mom rent this movie over and over back in the day...on Beta.

I haven't seen it since probably the mid 80's.

the pirate with red hair, red beard, white pants who clap the general's hand, is in fact Lord Humungus from Mad max the road warrior!
