Lyrics
(Verse 1)
Gilbert the squirrel, was surrying through the leaves, when he found a large chestnut in the ground.
He broke it open, and feasted on the shell, for Gilbert was a squirrel with many tales to tell.
(Chorus)
Cus' squirrels like chestnuts, monkey nuts and peanuts but they don't like nuts in chocolate.
They don't like double deckers, and simply not treckers cus they simply don't like nuts in chocolate
(Verse 2)
When Gilbert met the walrus, it gave him such a fright, his heart skipt a beat it must be love at first sight.
But unfortuntly the summer had gone on for too long, the winter it was coming and the walrus it had gone.
(Chorus, twice)
(Outro)
There's a squirrel for every human, it's the rule of two.
There's a squirrel, for every human. It's the rule of two.
Chords are C, Am, G, F if you're mad enough to learn this.
It had been a few years since we played this, can you tell? ;-)
