hey i have all seasons execept the first is it worth buying? i love this series just i find the begining of series in startek usualy pretty dry what do u think

Well, you might want to see the pilot. I've seen all seasons and I love the show as well. Season 1 has some good episodes but like all ST shows it's like you said, pretty dry. I believe there is a lot of backstory about Bajor and Cardassia. Or maybe that was season 2. It's beeen a while so I can't quite remember. Let's just say that nothing compares to season 3-6.
