his video contains audio from one of my handmade guitars played by Bob Eichorn through a fender a delux, and photos of the same guitar.
this instrument is completely hand made from the ground up, the body is poplar with a flamed maple top, it is semi-hollow with two cut-outs. the body finish is a nitric acid stain, followed by 3 coats of danish oil and a semi-gloss lacquer.
the neck is a 5 piece laminate of maple and walnut and is set, it has a rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays on the side and on the playing surface and a dual adjustable truss rod.
the bridge is an ashtray style, the tuners are 13:1 ratio. control plate has one tone one volume and a 3-way switch. the bridge pickup is a legend series pickup with alnico five magnets, the neck pup is out of a squire tele. i have done engraving on the control plate, input jack, and bridge as is seen in the photos.
i have made the pickguard from leather and have hand tooled all the designs into it as seen. if you have any questions please feel free to email me at
