Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has rejected calls to resign issued by U.S. President George Bush and the European Union. At a political rally (Tuesday, December 23), Mr. Mugabe dismissed the pressure that has grown out of unsuccessful efforts to form a new power sharing government. VOA's Chris Simkins reports the political stalemate continues as Zimbabwe struggles to contain a cholera outbreak and a massive food shortage, a crisis the U.S. blames on Mr. Mugabe's policies.

  • useless report , you european thieves. whats u r problem with africa again.LOOK AT GREECE AND ITALY. blood suckers in human flesh. Leave mugabe alone , you go and die/\.Mugabe is the only remaining African freedom fighter.

  • Mugabe is like the black Hitler

  • Praise the Lord. Let us all pray for international santctions to be lifted and removed from tthe people of Zimabwe to live as human beings made in God's image. No foreign government has the right to determine how the people of Zimbabwe should have their rights as human beings on this earth. Let us pray Zachariah 12: 9. " In that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem." says the Lord. In JESUS CHRIST NAME WE PRAY AMEN.

  • When all black leadership is selfish, stupid and violent, of course everything colapses. The few in charge don't suffer. They get exactly what they want. Personal comfort, power over the weak and can act any way they want without restraint. The dream life for the African blackman, and they will alway take it first chance they get.

  • Remove the ILLEGAL SATANIC EMBARGO!

  • I think this is a true opportunity for Barack Obama's change regarding his foreign policy. Because he can help Zimbabwe turn a tru democracy with the respect of international law. He can pressure more and more Mugabe to quit.

Unfortunaltely with Bus was not good, since perhapos Bush kept the sanctions against Muigabe, however tha letter was able to oppress Zimbabwe more and more. Remember Jestina Mukoko

And Darfur, he can forget al-Bashir arerest warrant.

    IT'S TIME FOR TRUE CHANGE.
