Zimbabwe's President Rejects Calls to Quit

Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has rejected calls to resign issued by U.S. President George Bush and the European Union. At a political rally (Tuesday, December 23), Mr. Mugabe dismissed the pressure that has grown out of unsuccessful efforts to form a new power sharing government. VOA's Chris Simkins reports the political stalemate continues as Zimbabwe struggles to contain a cholera outbreak and a massive food shortage, a crisis the U.S. blames on Mr. Mugabe's policies.

I think this is a true opportunity for Barack Obama's change regarding his foreign policy. Because he can help Zimbabwe turn a tru democracy with the respect of international law. He can pressure more and more Mugabe to quit.
