Kootenay Grouse Hunting With a PSE Crossbow

A lil PSE crossbow hunting for grouse in the Kootenays. We harvested some Spruce grouse with our crossbows. My first grouse but not on film.

Two questions. Is this a good crossbow for target shooters and beginers? Would this crossbow bruise someone's shoulder if fired from the shoulder?

@DarthBigBen Yes it is a very good one for that cuz it is half the price of a real expensive bow like a "excalibur" but not a super cheap bow either. It is a good all around bow for shooting targets, rabbits and big game like Bear, Elk or Moose.I've taken Deer and Grouse with mine and my Cousin has also shot elk with his.

And no, it will not bruise a shoulder...it is not very violent to shoot. It is fairly noisy to shoot and they are not the easiest thing to carry around tho

I'm not one, but out of all people I see cherish and respect Nature the most, it's a Hunter. Hunting instincts is something nature gave to meat-eating creatures to survive.
