So you have sync devices, and a sync module, but no panel? No problem, I'll show you how to hook up a sync mod, without using a panel. I used a System Sensor MDL for this video, so i'm not sure now to do this with any other manufactures sync mods. I also test if a Simplex Smart Sync capable device can be run on a different manufacture's sync mod. The devices tested on the mod are, a Siemens U-MMT-S75S with the strobe only running, and a Simplex 4903-9427 TrueAlert. NOTE: THIS VIDEO IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELF. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGED DEVICES, OR INJURIES. ALSO CONTAINS BRIGHT STROBE FLASHING. WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK.

  • @logycam10 All of Simplex's DC devices are 24VDC. I don't think they ever carried a 12VDC device sense their DC panels are 24VDC.

  • @logycam10 I suppose you could, but it'll only do code-3.I'm not sure about ESTs or Wheelock's but Simplex Smart Sync mod will do code-3, slow and fast march time.

  • And are truealert horns 12 or 24 volts?

  • Can you use that as a coding relay?
