@PearlDrums1234 I don't think that the G4 with 512 Mb is NOW a good computer. Even my netbook, with an Atom 1.6 Ghz, has 1 Gb of RAM. I suggest to buy a 1 Gb DIM, to patch up temporary the performances....even if I think that the results could be better installing any light linux distribution....

I'm thinking about buying a Mac mini 1.42mhz, 1GB RAM, 80GB HD, do you think it will be usable? its for my mom and she will only use it to go to the internet!

@jm1jonas I do not reccomend it...Actually I think that it's too slow. HQ Youtube videos lags sometimes even at 480p

how tha hell did you make that mac mini runs sooo smooth?? i have one exactly the same but with 10.5 is too slow

@djcrawleravp : smooth? :D It was incredibly slow....Maybe I made the video just after the power on, so the 1 gb of ram was partially free. Btw, unusable for everyday tasks....

@Mollan86 well... is fastest as my 1,42ghz g4 mac mini... that's why i use 10.4 witch is not as fast but is reasonable

@djcrawleravp After a few months of usage with Leopard, I restored Tiger. In my opinion it was lighter. Even on a first-gen MB white (1.83 Ghz Core Duo) Leopard was laggy.
