One of several methods to translate a video (but by far my favorite):
1) Download subtitles
2) Download video (To get 720p, you should use something similar to Youtube Downloader (Free). However, the video can be switched out later, so for simplicity, I'll download with YouTube). Some of the old video ae .flv-files that doesn't work with Camtasia. They can be converted to e.g. .avi in YouTube Downloader.
3) Import video
4) Import captions
5) Change the clip speed. It's much easier to sound natural and energetic when you have time to breathe between captions. Slowing speed down only 15% helps a lot. The subtitles automatically adapt to this change.
6)And now, you are ready to narrate

Note: Camtasia can only show letters A-Z.
An alternative is to watch the video with captions in VLC while narrating in Camtasia. The clip speed can be slowed down in VLC. To import subtitles to a video in VLC Player, select -Video- and -Subtitle track-
